Excerpts

So I'm scanning, editing, laying tone and laying out all the work from the comic now. Tedious and time consuming, the little bit I have managed to draw this week certainly shouldn't be seen in public.

Instead, heres a couple excerpts from my pet project; Brian's favorite panel of Karda entering the concert, and a shot of the Chojun rising to show some of the tone I've been putting in the underwater scenes. The tone scenes are coming out a bit better than I had expected and are now overpowering the black and white stuff, so I may have to end up toning a lot of it (but probably not the concert shot).

PSA

Hello everyone, I'm Ash Posey and I'm here to tell you about a disease I suffer from. Its called "Never leaving enough room at the bottom of the page for anyone's fucking feet." Every year, untold artists suffer in silence. However, my doctors fear my case may be terminal.

There's probably nothing you can do, but maybe if you're feeling motivated you can sponsor a 5K event or something.

SHLPTE Update

I may be slacking on editing ASIFA stuff, but all sequential pages for the first issue of my comic are now penciled, inked, and up on the wall(s). The excitement is beginning to mount.

ASIFA Drawing Backlog, Part 6

So today is the final session of the Summer ASIFA sessions aaaaaaand...I still have two more backlog updates to post? WOW, I sure do hate the shit out of scanning. Which I guess should be apparent when I start posting cell phone pictures of my wall. There could actually be more, but really there were a few days in this season that needed edited out.

In any case, these are Spring '09, part 1. I'll toss up the last of the backlog this weekend and then start posting Summer stuff as if its current. Haha! Now I must be careful to make sure no one who reads this figures it...well crap.

The One-Woman Flank

My Raphael 8404's tribute to the toughest woman in video games, Nephenee.

This makes we want to pick Fire Emblem back up.
