Alice; Testing

I'm putting together a new illustration portfolio. The last year all I've done is work for Benthic and none of my portfolio shows what I can actually do. Also, my color work is rusty, and I love color. I've just been cranking out stuff today, and heres some stuff I did as an exercise for an upcoming piece.

Worked a bit on a side project last week, mostly for fun. I figured I would share the opening two page spread (hooray insomnia!), and a quick drawing of the other main character.

Naked People Super Challenge Summer 2010 starts up this Thursday, so I better post all the Spring stuff while the getting is good. Today is the "dudeity" post. ALSO. If you're reading these posts on Facebook, they're posting over insanely late. Like, several days after the fact. Now that I have this rolling again, coming straight over to the blog is probably the hot line.

Bamboo Inking w/ Color

I don't do very much with Benthic in color, so even for me its a treat to see characters in color. I gave the bamboo drawings the Photoshop treatment. Issa looks hot and Karda looks like a total crazy person, so I must be doing something right.
